- Chileans speak chilensis, new zealanders speak kiwi.
- In NZ news are at 6:00 pm in Chile at 9:00 pm.
- Public transportation is terrible in NZ, in Chile you can get to places that never thought you could by bus or some sort of public transport!
- In NZ every family has at least one car, in Chile no yet, but is become more common.
- Unemployment rate in Chile moves between ~8 and ~9. In NZ, it moves between 3 ~4.
- Even thought NZ is a small country compared to Chile, the cultural diversity here a lot higher than in Chile.
- Dinner is usually between 6- 7 pm in NZ, :-). Chile people depending on the season you can eat as late as 10:00 pm! Lunch between 1-2, sometimes at 3:00. Of course, the timing depends on families, for example my grandmother (q.e.p.d) used to eat every 4 hours breakfast at 8:00, lunch at 12:00 and afternoon tea between 4-5, sometimes dinner sometimes a light snack at night.

- A lot more people smoke in Chile compare to NZ.
