Well, the  weekend was a bit tiring. Little Fran was a bit unwell, running a high fever pretty much all weekend, steady at 38. We weren't really sure what was wrong, so we decided to take a little trip to after hours Doc to make sure wasn't anything serious. The move starts today. This morning we get the keys for the new place- a little rental house at Lake Okareka. It is very exciting!!! It seems that it was yesterday when we decided to sell our house and now it is sold. It didn't take very long, despite the fact of being a private sell. For 2 hours today I talked to syster. I learned that she is doing the data analysis for her final paper at university so she can then graduate as a midwife! Today was the day of the Real Women's Duathlon Series in Rotorua. I was one of the real women doing it! Yuhuuu!! Three weeks ago, after doing the Tokoroa Forest fun race race organized by the Tokoroa Lions club with 2 ex-workmates, we decided we will do the Real Women/ex-Special K event in Rotorua. We are in Puerto Natales at the moment, just came back from a 5 day hike around the Park Torres del Paine. This is the new house, "el sueño de la casa propia". I love it! I never thought one day I would have my own house, actually our own house. Hola, el sabado 6 de mayo fui el cumpleanos de una companera de trabajo. La fiesta fue de disfraces y el tema era "los años 70". tuve una pequeña confusion de epocas y mi disfraz parecia mas una mexicana que de los años 70, mi intencion fue Hippie... Esto es Auckland luego de una carrera en Woodhill. Es una vista maravillosa del Oceano pacifico desde otra perspectiva. La carrera fue 11 km, en suelos de arenales la mayoria planos con algunas cuestas. El proximo ano el objetivo es correr 21km.
